With more than 27 years of professional experience, Fernando Santana Oyarzo is a specialist in business development across the industrial, mining, real estate, public works concessions, and corporate consulting sectors. His career has been marked by a strong focus on investments, finance, foreign trade, industrial coordination, and project evaluation, giving him a comprehensive and strategic view of business. Over the past 15 years, Fernando has led numerous market intelligence studies for mining, industrial, and service companies, covering topics as varied as pricing escalation for mining project inputs, cost and performance benchmarking, industry compensation benchmarking, public infrastructure demand for mining, and market studies in sectors such as industrial instrumentation equipment, cranes, steel, tourism, and real estate, among others.

Throughout his career, Fernando has had the privilege of building professional relationships with some of the most relevant companies in the mining and industrial sectors, including BHP Billiton, Codelco, Anglo American, Antofagasta Minerals, Minera Collahuasi, Minera Caserones, Sigdo Koppers, Salfacorp, Gerdau Aza, Endress+Hauser, and ABB — relationships that reflect the trust and recognition he has built within the industry over the years.

On the academic side, he holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering, with a major in Mechanical Engineering, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Master's degree in Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, and a Diploma from the Silicon Valley Immersion Program at the University of San Francisco, USA.

At Stratum, he is involved in corporate matters and provides advisory support on industrial intelligence, as well as to the commercial area.
